Hi as the title shows we are lttc #1 after 3 losses. It's been over 4 years now. Long story short it took 2 yrs to get 1st bfp ending in a blighted ovum found at 9wks. We had clomid which didn't work, an enforced break due to mmr vaccine and then a clear hsg. Next bfp came a yr after the 1st. Private scan at 8 wks showed identical twins. 12 wk scan was fine next growth scan at 14 wks showed twin to twin tranfusion. I delivered my boys the following week. I suffered from pnd for several months and was just getting back on track. I took a low dose of clomid to try and regulate my crazy hormones and went back on the cbfm and got a bfp at the end of July last year. We had a scan at 7 wks and all was fine. A week or so later I woke up to a horrible thought that my baby was dead. Over the next 2 weeks but symptoms faded and at 11 wks I started to spot. A fter a trip to a and e and epu a mmc was confirmed. Testing on myself and babies show nothing wrong. The rmc consultant prescribed progesterone and aspirin for the next bfp. But I haven't been ready for it. We got married at xmas and just got back from honeymoon and I'm 39 next week and we've decided to get back on the horse so to speak! Af came today so am switching on the cbfm and am going to take low dose of clomid again and see where it takes us. Anyone along for the ride? Would love to chat with people in a similar situation and support each other through the highs and lows.

I am so sorry for your losses and the roller coaster you have been on. I've had two mmc and its heartbreaking. We're NTNP this month, then trying next, but it's still draining.

Wishing you baby vibes!

Hi sunshine. Sorry for your losses too. It is utterly heartbreaking. You think you can't be so unlucky as to go through it again. Have you been trying for long?

We've been trying for a year and had one loss in July at 13 weeks (mmc) and one in December at 8 weeks (also mmc but then turned natural)

It is so heartbreaking. I'm not trying this month as I just had my last d&c in January. So letting myself heal first!

Picking yourself up again is so hard isn't it. It just adds insult to injury when you've been ttc for longer than others. The 'you're more fertile after a mc' doesn’t hold true for me unfortunately.
