Hey all! I've been trying to conceive for over two years now for baby no #2 dont know why it hasn't happend! Really stressful and depressing now. Have a girl already and shes turning 4 soon!

First the doctor told me im stressing too much... Switched doctors after a year and a half and the other doc ran tests to determine ovulation which seemed to be fine so i was given clomid for three months and that didnt help either! Finally was given an IVF-c injection again didnt help. I guess now they'll recommend getting my tubes checked. Anyone else in the same boat as me? Dont know what could be wrong since I've had a kid before without any issue and now this whole thing is really stressing me ....

Need some happy stories! Haha

Id def have ur tubes checked only because If they do have a minor blockage, the dye can push through alot of times. My doctor said the odds can go up by 25% for 3 cycles following an HSG. My only tube sadly was blocked but hopefully enzymes therapy will be my answer. I go for a repeat hopefully next month. Anyway, I'm sorry its taking so long. I'm almost at the 2 yr mark for #2 for me and #1 for dh now. If u don't get a bfp before hand, I hope an HSG is recommended and that it does the trick for you! FX! Good luck and lots of baby dust ur way! :dust:

Also, were u on birth control or anything in between children? Just curious as b/c can sometimes cause a slight blockage to build up in tubes. Honestly that wouldn't be a bad thing because small blockages can usually be pushed through and then many of those women conceive shortly after. And have u had dhs SA? I know of meds such as fertilaid for men can increase low counts quite quickly. There thankfully are usually ways to fix those issues. Again good luck and I hope you see your bfp ASAP!

secondary infertility is pretty common really

im just more shocked that you have had treatments before even having tests

I don't have the happy story you are looking for I'm afraid (yet!!) but I have gone through exactly the same as you. We conceived our DS on month 5 of trying so no issues at all. When my DS was about to turn 2 we decided we were ready to start trying for another baby and I honestly thought it would happen straight away since I had lots of ovulation symptoms etc.... that was 3 years ago. After 1 year of trying they started to do tests and it turned out that my DH has major issues with his sperm... Has your DH had a SA done? If not I would recommend getting that done ASAP incase the issue is with him and not you. I've had blood tests done, a HSG and a Laparoscopy and all were fine and good so really we now know the issue is with DH and are seeing a fertility specialist at the start of next year to discuss our options.....

I'm sorry I can't give you a better story but I am here to talk if you want to. I'm part of a great thread which is full of wonderful ladies all experiencing secondary infertility for different reasons so lots of advice, help and sometimes just there to listen to us all rant!
