Ltttc now I was put on clomid for 8 days?!? Confused

Hi my ttc sisters.
Okay so I've been ttc for about 5 yrs now. I have irregular periods and have pcos. I went to a new fertility doctor and he put me on clomid I've done clomid before but this time this doctor put me on clomid 150mg for 8 days. I think that's a lot of days. Have any of you ladies taken clomid for this long? Please help thanks in advanced

Only ever 5 days here- can u ask why u were prescribed it for so long? That's a hefty dose too

Hey unicornwish I do plan to ask my doctor I called and left them a vm hopefully they call back soon
