Hi all,

So I think I've been putting off posting in here, because I felt that we haven't really been trying, not trying everything, every month we could. But it's been over 10 years of LTTC and NTNP and I have not had tests done by the doctors as they just dismiss me and tell me to lose weight (I have lost over 4stone so far but more to go).

Has anyone had tests performed whilst over BMi 30 - or should I not expect any tests until I am below?

L xx

hello,

From my experience, you definitely can! My BMI currently is ~40 (I know, I need to loose weight, just easier said than done) and I am going through treatments/tests/etc. Do you have PCOS?

My Dr has a cutoff of 40 BMI. I had to lose a few pounds to wedge myself in there. I'm working on losing more now, but easier said then done indeed!

My BMI has been 35-40 since we've been trying and my docs did everything. Only mentioned that it would help for us to lose weight. I hope you can find someone that will work with you.

Thank you all for your replies! Fingers crossed for 1st June I don't have too much of a fight on my hands x

Yes you can have test's done. Depending on your clinic and Dr you may just not be able to go through with the IUI's or the IVF's if it comes to that.
