lubricants?

Hi I came off the pill a month or so ago ,we are going on holiday in June so going to start properly trying after that. This month we have used no protection so could be pregnant but we used lube! We always do (although not last time we ttc with our lo) I completely forgot not to use and didn't really know why until i read about it, now I'm worried I've got pregnancy and it may affect baby. Anyone else have experience with this? Thanks

i don't think i've ever heard of lube negatively affecting baby. The only thing I've heard is that is decreases sperm mobility, almost like they 'hit a wall'

I don't think there is much validity to that. DH and I used lube all the time and were pregnant the first week we stopped preventing...
