I've noticed a hard painless lump above my incision (section was 3 weeks ago). About the size of a 2 pence piece. What could this be? Scar tissue??

Could be a heomatoma. I had two, just a collection of blood around the scar. I was sent for ultrasounds and told it will dissipate into my body again, vanished around 3 months after section. Have a chat with your doctor and he can refer you if he thinks it needs looking at :)

It's probably thread! At 10 months post partum the lumps that I had got even harder and then my body started chucking out thread through them... Some people's bodies just don't dissolve the 'soluble' thread they use to stitch the belly wall in so the body starts 'spitting'. Now my scar is bump free and DD is 1 in a few days!
