Last week I woke up and my jaw was really sore. Its the left side towards the back. I didnt think much of it, but its been constantly sore since then and got really painful if I touched it. I tried to leave it alone the last few days. It was still really sore today and I checked and felt a huge lump on my jawbone. Its extremely painful to touch (to the point where I was in tears). It is definitely on the bone...its not on my gums, its not on my cheek...its on the bone. And I am freaking out.

Anyone know what this could be and/or what I should do about it. I'm really scared.

Depending on where exactly it is, it could be a dental abscess or a cyst? I had a root canal that got infected several years after I had it done, and that caused a swelling in the bone itself (not the gum). Take yourself to the dentist and get an x-ray. I hope it clears up soon, it sounds very painful :(
