SO when I was breastfeeding Ivy I had a lump in my boob and my midwife said it was a blocked milk dud and showed me how to unblock it. Then last week I found that the lump was still there! Went to the doctors and I have to go for a scan in the hospital :(! She said it is either a cyst or maybe a slight chance of breast cancer. I am freaking out!! :(

:hugs: :hugs: :hugs: I know this is easy to say, but really try not to worry until you actually KNOW, or you're going to work yourself up so so much. I really hope it's just a cyst or something like that hun. All the best, keep your chin up.

Yea I know it is still hard though :( I just hope it is a cyst, cause if the doctor thought it was breast cancer she would of said something surely? And get me to the hospital that day?

Of course it is hun :hugs: I can't imagine what you're going through. But yes, I would have imagined if the doctor thought it was cancer, it would have been sorted fairly quickly and had you go for scans more or less immediately.

:hugs::hugs::hugs:
Don't freak out.
I had this once, turns out I just have lumpy boobs. Sexy...lol
Really, it could be nothing :hugs:

try not to worry hunny, easier said than done i know.

hope you will find out soon. :hugs:

:hugs: try not to worry until you have reason too. Easier said than done I know. :(

Thanks girlies :flower: :hugs:

It sucks cause I could be waiting up to 6 weeks to get in the hospital for the scan :(
I just need to keep myself occupied so I don't think about it!

I was kind of in that situation no lump but after 'moderate' cell changes and getting the cells removed and now anticipating every smear. Especially when I have been bleeding for 4 weeks, I do get that 'waiting' and trying to put everything to the back of your mind. I'm hear to chat :flower:

How were the cells removed? o_O how often do you have to get smears?
:hugs: thanks hun :flow: just got to try keep occupied! I am moving into my own place finally in 4 days so going to try focus on that

I get smears every 6 months now and they were removed by tiny razors (looked like a tiny chainsaw) they gave me an anesthetic injection up there first, which was the worst past that and the clamp after that I calmed down. I made it worse as I was soooo tense but hey what needs to be done has to be done I mean no matter what happens I know Michael is my priority so I have to put my health up there to.
Lot's of luck moving that will defiantly keep you occupied.

:hugs: :hugs: hope everything goes okay!! Focus on Ivy & your new place xxxx

Hope everything is ok babe :)

I had this when daisy was about 6 months old and had to go have a scan... Turned out that mine was a blocked duct and it just need draining. It has come back again but i need to wait till ive finished breastfeeding now xx
