I miscarried last Friday at 12.5 weeks and had d&c (our 1st pregnancy). Absolutely the worst day of my life.

Anyway, I am 27 and have Sjorgren's syndrome (an autoimmune disorder). I was told by the OB and rheumatologist not to worry, Sjorgren's won't have any affect on my pregnancy. Well after the fact, I am finding online that there is a higher rate of miscarriage (not sure how much), due to blood clots that can cut off blood supply to baby. We don't know if this happened or not. Anyway, I have been on baby aspirin as a blood thinner already. Anyone on here have Sjogren's or know anything about this? Also wondering if I should be tested for Antiphospholipid syndrome, a related disorder that can cause m/c.

thanks a lot!

I know a lady with Sjorgren's who has a 19 year old daughter now. She did have trouble carrying but for a completely unrelated reason. So sorry you went through a mc :( I hope you get the little one you deserve xx
