making lists again

after suddenly loosing my baby on the 27th Sept we decided to not use any of the names we had chosen and called baby Sonnie.

well now it may seem strange but the one thing that has really helped me to cope with it all is making lists and plans for the future.
not only is there my secret wedding in january to plan for but also ive been making lists of names i would like to use in the future. i feel it would be wrong to use any of the names we had chosen for Sonnie as before we chose sonnie they were our baby's names.

so the girls names i have written so far are:

Verity Corrin
Rowen Niamh
Keren (?)
Robyn Ilysa (il - lis - a)

boys names are:

Malachy Jonathan
Declan Jude
Drew (?)
Micah Anthony


so what do you think?? xxxxx

Rowen Niamh - I like Niamh but see Rowen as a boys name.
Keren (?) - I don't like either.
Robyn Ilysa (il - lis - a) - I like Robyn, but not Ilysa.

Malachy Jonathan - I like Malachy, but not Jonathan.
Declan Jude - I like Jude, but not Declan.

(I'm wondering tho if you chose that spelling for a certain reason? My friend has a daughter named Ily because it stands for "I Love You" -- looking at your spelling i'm wondering if it means something like "I Love You Sweet Angel"?)

In that case -- Ilysa Niamh is gorgeous!

OMG you must be psychic or something! that is exactly the reason why i chose that spelling. thats just spooky. but then i suppose you have a friend who has chosen a name for a similar situation.

thanks button. its really really growing on me and is now at the top of my list for the future.
im going to have two girls names and two boys names then if its twins again ive already got names picked for identicals, i can then choose one of the two from boys and girls if its different sex twins again and then if its a singleton then i can go to the hospital with them and decide which name baby suits best.
looking ahead is really helping with the sadness. thank you everyone. xxxx

thanks tink. i really miss being in 2nd tri but i need to be strong and look forward to the future otherwise i would completely break down as i do suffer quite badly from depression. i like to try and look for the positives to stop me from going to a bad place rather than rely on meds as i dont like myself on meds i would much rather have the highs and lows then just be a plain jane. it makes me appreciate what i have in life more knowing that i have felt the emotions to go with it.

but i have now decided i like Robyn Ilysa and Niamh (?) was thinking alexis but now have gone off that as a middle name lol.
Malachy is definately a strong contender for a boys name though. xx

I have a while yet, I just don't know who he is, kind of waiting to find out his name, if only he would let me know!

u are really missed there hun and i know u have been in all our thoughts. u are an incredibly strong lady, much more so than me.i agree it is better to experience the emotions and it will help u grieve. looking to the future is the best way forward, the names u have decided u like are lovely. and i know Sonnie will be looking over their little brother or sister when he/she arrives x
