male fertility test NHS

Hi my partner has a sperm test on monday and was wondering for those of u who are in the UK and have had experience of this, how long do u have to wait to get the results? Any advice would be great as we are just starting out with our fertility testing. Xxxx

Hi alicea
Did you have the SA done through the GP or with the Reproductive Clinic after GP referral?
The 1st ones DH had through the GP were back within a couple of days so we had an appointment to discuss the result (as it wasn't good) or you could call them?
If its through the Hospital after GP referral, then we got the result at the follow up appointment.
