Manga and Anime Thread

Hello. I love manga and anime and was wondering if there might be enough others on BnB who do too to make it worth their being a new group.

I am currently reading Kimi ni Todoke, Naruto, Nana, Ouran High School Host Club and Children of the Sea. I recently finished Honey and Clover.

So, anyone out there?

I love manga and anime! =D

Some of my favourites are Elfen Lied, Death Note, Black Jack, FMA and Speed Grapher.

Great to know there are other anime and manga fans on the forum! =]

Hooray I'm not alone! I've seen the death note film but not read the manga. DH has read it all and loved it. There's loads more I'd like to read but we can't afford to buy much now. DH works in a library and set up a teen manga group through which he's been able to use the young people's budget to do big book buys with the kids and ge in loads of manga. It's been a god send to us!

Do you watch the films? I can't understand why but the live action films are always really rubbish! They have low budgets but still, with such good storylines they could do better.

I only know death note and fma from your list, what are the others about? It sounds like you're a shonen fan. I like it too, hence Naruto which I can't recommend highly enough, but I have such a soft spot for shojo. Nana is the best for grown up shojo.

Oh my god that teen manga group thing sounds awesome! I see you live in Greater Manchester... gosh, I wish I still lived there lol!

The death note manga is pretty much identical to the anime. I quite like the live action films. L: Change the world is my favourite live action film... probably because of the Kenichi Matsuyama overload lol! =D
