Hi everyone

What do you think of this name for a girl?

And which spelling do you think is most girly? There are so many variations, but I think Marley and Marlie are maybe a bit boyish and Marleah and Marlea people might pronounce the 'a' at the end to make it sound like 'Leah'...

What do you think?!

Thanks!

I like the name but would spell it Marley. :D Very cute :D

How about Marleigh as a spelling? Ive never heard this name before, its quite nice though, and quite unique (which i like ). I like Mayley or Mayleigh, a little girl who lives nearby is called this, and theres Marnie too . xx

If I am honest I'm not keen on it really. Marnie is pretty though or Marlene/ Marlena.

I think this name is lovely...it reminds me of Will Smith's daughter in the film 'I Am Legend' and she was really cute!

Although i like the spelling 'Marlie' the best!

Thanks everyone for the opinions and suggestions! I do like Marlie...

Okay next question... I just thought, does it sound like 'Mylie' and will people think I've named my baby after Mylie Cyrus ?!

my sister kept nagging me to call this baby Marlee. I do really like it. It doesnt sound like miley. x

Marlee/Marley is cute. What about Marlene and Marley for short?

I LOVE the name Marley, preferably spelled that way. But Marlee is nice too! I think it's a very pretty & feminine name.

I think with an "a" at the end it would be pronounced like "Leah."

It doesn't at all remind my of Miley Cyrus.

However, there was a recent movie in the theaters called "Marley & Me" and Marley was a male dog. I would still use the name though, but i thought i would mention that in case you never heard of the movie!

I was going to say someones had a baby on here called Marley and its a boy lol i think its more of a male name  but thats my opinion maybe spelt differently itll look more feminine most names are unisex nowdays anyway x

marleigh looks lovely but she's going to have to always spell it. I have to always spell my name and i dont mind but your bubby might not feel to happy about it

xx

My daughter is called Maley (pronounced May-lee) and I originally wanted Marley for a girl but so many people kept asking me is it after Bob Marley and being that she is mixed race, it turned me off it. I still love the name though and i prefer it for a girl than for a boy.

I prefer the Marley or Marlie spellings.

It doesnt remind me of Miley either although Maley gets called Marley and Miley :dohh:

I love the name Marley!

I would spell it Marley or Marlee

I used to know a girl called Marley. I thought it was a cool name.
