Massage Oil for Labour

What do you reckon to this product? Has anyone got it/tried it? Should I go for a 'known' brand?

I could make my own as I have clary sage, jasmine and lavendar oils, but ideally I would like something I just pop in my hospital bag and not worry about leaking for anything!

I'm using sweet almond oil. Dont want baby confused with too many other scents when she comes out

This is what i went for. If you can be bothered to make your own, and can get the bits for a reasonable price including a carrier oil (ie normal olive oil/veg oil too i think?) and instructions on how much to add of what, then go for it. The bottle is TEENY and i wonder how far it'll go, but it's perfect for me because i am lazy

P.s. that particular combination of oils is proven at naturally inducing (speeding) labour once you get going by working on the uterus, so i'd stick with that combo.

That's really helpful, thank you I didn't want to buy without knowing someone else has got it too, lol! I'm not worried about the bottle being tiny as I don't want to be smothered in the stuff, lol! just have a little rub down. I might be using the pool to labour in, as well, so might not get to use it!

I do love the smell of sweet almond oil though. Do you reckon I could convince hubby to give me a few rubs down in my last couple of weeks?

Lol i'm sure you can convince him to give you a massage As far as i know the first blend of oils are best used actually during labour - i'm wondering if there are contraindications before labour? I'm hoping to use a pool too (i've got one sat half inflated right next to me waiting!) so i expect i'll not need a lot either.
