Massive appetite

For whatever reason, I've got a huge appetite the last few days. Can't get enough and it's mostly junk I want to eat - chocolate, biscuits, ice cream. Need to slow down or I'll be a beast by the end of this pregnancy! Xx
 
Im the same! Was especially ravenous last week, I blame it on a baby growth spurt!
 
im like this today, i have days like this and they days where its ok, i figured growth spurt too. i woke at 4am needing cereal haha then i went back to sleep and had crumpets for my "real" breccy before work. i havent stopped since. two pieces fruit, ham tomato toastie , yogurt and a mini sausage roll so far. :p x

That doesn't sound too bad! I've had cereal, a ham sandwich, activia yoghurt, packet of quavers and a couple of squares of dairy milk. Too much junk!

cereal - good
activia yogurt - good
quavers - low cal so ill let ya off ;)
dairy milk - meh a girl needs choccy!

im eying up the choccy in my work kitchen

on my list i wouldnt class the crumpets or the mini sausage roll as being particularly good, but baby likes them :haha:
 
You girls make me feel like a right pig! This is my daily eatings for today:

Breakfast - 60g of museli with 200mls of almond milk. 1 fat free yoghurt.
Lunch - 1 apple, 1 banana, 1 chocolate desert yoghurt, 1 large brown wrap with 1/2 tin of tuna and 30mls of extra light mayo.
Dinner - Chicken breast, cauliflower and gravy.
Snacks - Chicken supernoodles and a Kinder chocolate bar.
Drinks - 6 glasses of water and 4 cups of tea.

Thats coming in at roughly 1800 calories lol
 
^^^ sounds perfect to me. its only 4pm here, plenty of eating time to get in :p
 
Its 4pm here too, are you also in the UK?
I plan everything that I eat, have done for years, its an unhealthy fixation on calories etc. Stems from having an ED but being pregnant has totally helped me and ive almost tripled the amount of calories I used to eat since being pregnant, hence the 29lb weight gain to date lol.
 
1800 calories is fine! You used to eat 2/3 less than this, only 600 calories a day?! That's nothing! I eat around that if not more most days....
 
ps I do the counting calories thing too, my "maintenance" is around 1600 or so, but am letting myself go a few hundred over as in 3rd tri now and am also STARVING all the time! Oh and with you on the junk, chocolate and cakes are all I crave, mad as I barely ate that stuff before!
 
I probably had those calories in just the pizza,ice cream and choc fudge cake i have had.... Just cereal and a banana for breakfast :haha:
 
Mini, are you on MFP?
Yeah I used to eat no more than 500-700 calories a day and exercise them all off at the gym. Looking back on it now, it really was very dangerous. I feel a lot better now eating soooo much more!
I do try and stick to 17000-1800 calories now but I have a blow out day once or twice a week as I just need fooooooood!
 
Suffolk, that's all so good though! I lost 3 stone for my wedding last October but since I got pregnant I've let myself go!

Just had a caramel wafer and tonight, I'm having fish, potatoes and veg followed by meringue and strawberries!

I think I may be hungry again...! Xx
 
yes im in the uk. i used to count calories a long time ago and always struggled at the start with the idea of gaining weight.

before being pregnant i did lots of sports in gym every night and played for a football team. i didnt worry about calories but ate very healthy with protein and not to many carbs (only before running)

im past caring now lol, ill get the wight off when hes born x

mmm tht dinner sounds good,
i need to take dog to the vets so im about to have duck noodles with vegetables at work.

no doubt ill have pudding later on tonight

Thats my way of thinking now. I lost 4 stone before being pregnant, and I will lose what ever weight I have gained once he/she is here. Ive set myself a goal of losing 2 stone by Christmas, but we will see!

Yes glad you are eating healthier now! I also used to do lots more exercise and the whole burn off calorie thing, its been hard letting go of control a bit, so I know how you feel. Much healthier to eat withing normal range for your size etc though, it just took me ages to learn that and exercise some moderation etc, and I actually ended up losing more weight and being more fit eating a decent healthy diet on around 1600 calories or so (more on weekends!) with exercise than I did when I was more restrictive - mad isn't it?!
