i've been having a dilemma with myself over whether to buy a new winter coat, put up with my old one, buy a maternity one, normal one but one size bigger, it's been driving me mad.

but i've just found one on ebay, maternity coat in as new condition with a hood (i can't believe so many winter coats don't have hoods!!) for the bargain price of £27:thumbup:

feel quite pleased now having had to spend £200 on a new mattress yesterday :dohh:

damn babies have so many hidden costs

I know...... Babies and pregnancy. Its madness its costing me (well husband... lol) a fortune,
I brought a maternity coat too. Its well worth it really as you’ll be pregnant for the whole winter.

I've just bought one too.

I was hoping my sister (who was pregnant last winter) could lend me one but she didn't actually have one - said she was too hot even in the depths of winter to need it.

Being a cold blooded creature myself I know that won't happen to me so had to indulge... x

I've found a really nice one in New Look that i'm debating on getting. Gorgeous style but doesn't have a hood either..!! Strange isn't it, you'd think that'd be a pretty big feature of a winter coat..

I got the New Look one.

Shame about the lack of hood but I'm pleased with it :) x

I got a mac from the asos sale really cheap, its still really massive for me though but maybe in a few months i can wear it.

I bought a noppies one from yummy mummy maternity - £61 - so not too expensive. Should be ok for afterwards too. No hood on mine!

I need to start looking for one too, mine wont do up anymore lol

I got a gorgeous maternity coat from asos.com - I'll find it and post the link. It was only £35 in the sale and honestly it's so gorgeous, feels really expensive and everyone comments on how lovely it is.
And the best thing is you can easily wear it as a normal coat after the baby comes!

Damn it they don't have it anymore :(

I've contemplated this and decided against the extra expenditure. I have a three quarter sleeve coat that buttons up top so it can spread with the bump below. It has a hood, it's warmish and I can add layers beneath. Layers will be my friend I think. And arm warmers. Scarves too. Thermal underwear from the mens section.
Sorted! :)

I'm not due til the end of January so there's no way I'll cope without one. Can't find a decent, cheap one anywhere though. I'm just going to keep an eye on eBay.

New look maternity one is really nice I think its about £30 as well.
