Maternity Leave / Pay (without a job)

This might be a silly question but if you didn't have a job (through redundancy or whatever) and get pregnant do you get maternity pay and same entitlements (ie, 52 weeks leave)?
Or would you just get usual jobseekers allowance? Even though you're not technically "job seeking"

I think you would just get income surport if you qualify for it.Which i assume you would if you where gettin g job seekers. You would have to be looking for a job till you where 29 weeks .
 
If you have worked a certain number of weeks out of a certain number of weeks you could be entitled to maternity allowance.
