Maternity leave with DS on summer hols, anyone else?

Hi!

My due date for our second boy is Oct 9th and my first son started school this April. This summer will be our first set of summer hols and so I decided to start ML a month early rather then put him in paid childcare.

I'll be on countdown for Sept...'My time' as I call it, last time I thought I would sit around and be lazy but nesting kicked in and I got all those jobs done that we put off, so i'm hoping to be like that in Sept when DS is back in school.

Just wondering if anyone else is having ML around that time and will have a LO (or more) to entertain?

I'm taking my leave in August so will be home with DD who is 9 and DS who is 5 , got lots of entertaining to do!

Im due Oct 2nd with my second - who also started school last september and this is his first '6weeks holiday'. Im only working for 1 week during the school holidays before my maternity leave kicks in. Im hoping i dont go 4weeks early like last time.... otherwise I will get 1 week when hes back at achool to myself lol!! X

DS really wants to go back to his old nursery for a day a week to play with his friends - Yes it's money I hadn't budgeted for but it will be great to look forward to a whole day of nesting/cleaning/batch cooking!!!

I'm really hoping for some nice dry weather, we live near a canal and he does like walking (on occasion!) He still likes a buggy to get in now and then though, we had the chat about hoe the buggy has to go once baby arrives and he said 'but mummy you have 2 hands so you an push 2 buggies!' Yeah right Mr, your walking!!
