Maternity Pay- confused!

Ok ill explain the best I can but am very very confused!

Before I was on maternity leave I got pai monthly - the last frida of every month, so sometimes this would work out I got paid every 4 weeks - sometimes every 5.

Well Maternity Pay is WEEKLY, and I was last paid on the 16th of Dec - 6 weeks ago, but have still only been paid £540?? Surely it should be more like £700 before tax - ie SMP x 6 weeks??

Should I argue this with my employer? xx

smp is paid exactly as you would get paid normally. So will be either 4 or 5 weeks depending on month. Ring your employers if you dont think its right
