Hi, I'm looking for good math workbooks, DS asked me for worksheets to do at home, the math taught at school in PY2 is too basic for him, his teacher is working on giving him extras in class. He already knows groups & arrays in multiplication, currency in $, £ & AED. He goes to mental math classes but he's bored from working on the abacus for calculations & I honestly don't see a benefit on the long run.

He uses study ladder & math whizz but he doesn't want to work on apps, he wants worksheets or a workbook.

Any recommendation for good series of math workbooks?

My son is younger than yours but we have been using the mental maths workbooks for age 5-6. It's a ten question 'test' (we don't say it's a test we just say it's a maths quiz) and we do one a week for fun. He enjoys it and actually asks sometimes to do it. I got it from Amazon for about £5.

I tried finding something for Violet since she's been interested in math recently. I finally gave up as there are no good options close to me other than ordering online. I ended up printing stuff off. I think in the end it was the better choice anyway as I can target Violet's interests. There are a lot of good free printables online.

Maria has the Collins easy learning workbooks which she occasionally enjoys doing. Omar would probably need the higher level than the ones for his age though.
