Hi ladies, i'm hoping someone can offer me some advice.

I ordered the maxi-cosi pebble with my pram a few weeks ago and thought nothing of it. Today i looked on their website and it says none of their seats fit my car!

I'm now in panic mode! It has isofix points so surely on a base i would have no problems. Has anyone else got a vectra?

Thanks in advance xx

If it says its not compatible on their website i wouldnt use it in that car tbh.

who ever you brought the car seat from should have checked it in your car first. You should pop to your local halfords or mothercare and ask them to try one for you.

If it doesn't fit you should be able to send it back anyway so dont panic.

I agree with Mary HH, go to the shop you ordered it with and see if they'll let you try it in your car. I had a look myself to check OH's car (BMW 1 Series 5dr), and think it's so strange that the Pebble and Cabrio Fix can go in the crappy middle seat in the back, but it won't fit on any of the seats on a Vectra, which is a far bigger car. The only thing I can think of is that the shape of the seats might not support the seat safely?
Let us know how you get on!

I would go back to where you got the carseat from and ask them to fit it for you.... They should of done that for you when you had it though... Or go to your local Mothercare, don't go to halfords they are awful at fitting seats properly

It might be that your seatbelts are not long enough to go around the seat.... It may be okay with the isofix base... But go and get it checked out....

I just bought a Maxi Cosi Pebble. I have an 03 Yaris so wasn't sure whether or not we had Isofix. I went into Mothercare who showed me exactly what to look for in my own car, and it turns out I do have it so we bought the Familyfix base.

However, I also checked that the Pebble could still be used without isofix and they said yes. The lady showed me how to secure it with just a seatbelt, but if you don't have isofix and still want a base then the pebble is also compatible with Easybase which stays put in your car but is secured with belts instead of isofix points - perfectly safe if done correctly and half the price of Familyfix!
