I lost the pregnancy this morning. I am oddly ok about it. I am trying to focus on the positives which are 1) I got pregnant staright away in cycle 1 2) i have been scanned internally and externally and there doesnt seem to be any physical reason.

It could have been worse, I could have been 12 weeks down the line. In reality I had only known for an hour before the bleeding was bad.

I feel for my OH as he now knows but is on holidya with his kids. I have told him not to come back as I am physically fine (but for a terrible headache) and emotionally I think I am actually ok.

I am grateful for all of the kind messages on this site and it has made things a lot easier for me.

I look forward to getting back into the swing of it after my next period!

So sorry Mazza, I had hoped for you that this wouldn't happen.

I'm glad you feel ok but do try and take it easy and be gentle on yourself.

Hugs x

You are so positive! This site surely helped me when I have my mmc 2weeks ago. Everyone is soo nice and has great advice. Im glad you finally told your husband - and after my mc I had a horrible headache too. And NOTHING would help it.. I wonder if it has something to do with sudden shift in hormones.. itd be interesting to see how many on here actually had horrible headaches after. I hope yours calms down. :hugs:

As I said in your other post, don't be afraid to cry. After our first miscarriage at 7 weeks last August, I felt very much like you describe. I had only known that we were pregnant for one day so I hadn't had a very long time to bond with our baby. It didn't change the fact that I was sad and needed time to cry and reflect on what could have been.

I have cried a bit. I think I might really cry when OH comes home, but I am sort of okfor now. Its this damn headache!!! Its truly horrendous!

Hi Mazza,

Sorry to hear this hun!

Your headache will be the stress of the past 24 hours Mrs.

Sending you some

XXXXXXXXX

I hope your headache goes away soon. It'll pass and then you'll be able to think straight again. You'll enjoy having your hubby home with you.

i had horrible headaches afterwards it lasted for a few weeks for me, i thought i needed new glasses after a while! but then it stopped.
hope your okay and best of luck for next time. xxx

Huh, I thought my headache (excruciating almost blinding) was from the drugs coming out of my system (EP that ruptured in the hospital. Surgery on jan 25 headache from about the 27 for about a week) I actually called the dr and saw her about 2 days later and she said it was from lack of iron. So I upped my iron intake and they went away.
I am assuming those of us who have had this happen lost a bit of blood and became slightly anemic, maybe that is what the headaches are from?

Pre - maybe you are right.. because my dr told me to keep taking my prenatals (even though I had stopped.. because I forgot!) - but once I started taking them again.. my headache went away.

I will top up on the iron. My prenatals were just folic acid and a vit B complex so I will sort that out. I havent been able to sleep the last two nights on account of the pain.
Thanks!

I am really good. I had the odd wobble over the weekend, but I saw the dr about the headached and she gave me stuff for menstrual migraines which was great. I also found out yesterday that you can be more fertile after a MC and so I have taken great comfort from that.
All in all I am really ok.
Thanks for asking and all the very suportive posts. XXX

Good to hear Mazza! Good luck to you in your TTC venture!
