So I'm CD 30, and my cycle is normally only 28 days. Last month I had a miscarriage @5 weeks that started Nov 23-24th. So I've taken several tests and they are all BFN . So I'm wondering if maybe my miscarriage just messed up my cycle? I know I ovulated a little bit early this month, pretty much right after I stopped bleeding, so I thought for sure my AF would be early too. So now I'm really sick with a bad bad cold, and since all my tests were BFN I went ahead and took cold medicine to get my fever under control. Now I'm worried cause I still have no AF...any advise? Or similar situations?

Hi Pink! I've had two miscarriages this year and both times my af came a bit later than normal...and way heavier. I think it's probably just your body trying to get back to normal. Hope it comes soon...I know what a relief that is!!

Yes, it is common for MCs to disrupt your cycle. Cycles can be longer, shorter, missed altogether, etc.

This sucks....I was soo hoping to get my BFP right after my miscarriage, and now that I'm pretty sure I'm not going to get it, I just really want my AF so I can start fresh next month...and try out some new tricks I read about

I know the feeling! It took a couple of months before AF hit for me, and my cycles are shorter, but AF is lighter and longer then she used to be. I'm hoping it restabilizes, but I've read that sometimes those changes are permanent (pregnancy is pregnancy, even if it doesn't pan out, so it can wreak havoc on your body anyway).
