My husband and I have been TTC since February of this year. I got a positive pregnancy test on June 20th. We were so excited!! I took 4 more tests just because I couldn't believe this miracle was actually happening. All 5 tests were positive! I had a lot of pregnancy symptoms...really sore bbs, heightened sense of smell, exhausted, lightheaded at times, nausea at times and just felt pregnant. It was amazing! Well yesterday (June 25th) I woke up in the morning to get ready for work and I had bad cramps. I hadn't had any cramping and I went to the bathroom and when I wiped there was some slight spotting. I panicked of course and got into my doctor yesterday morning. He checked my uterus and said it seemed to be a bit enlarged which was a good sign, so they sent me to get my HCG levels tested to see where I was at. Well my HCG test came back at 15. That's lower than what a home pregnancy test picks up. 
I was completely confused? So they set me up to test it again tomorrow. Well yesterday I had to go buy another pregnancy test and when I took it, it was negative. I also realized my pregnancy symptoms were pretty much all gone. I decided to try to relax, which was next to impossible until Friday (tomorrow) to get my 2nd HCG test. Well I woke up at 3:30am this morning and I had really bad cramps, I went to the bathroom and I was bleeding pretty good. I knew it was over. I had lost my baby. I was only approx. 5 1/2 weeks, but it was long enough to feel my body changing because of the life that was trying to grow inside me. I called my doctor after I got to work this morning and he had me go in to be checked. It was confirmed I was having a mc. My symptoms are all gone. I have had horrible cramps to the point of feeling nauseous. Luckily my doctor gave me some medicine to help with the pain. But now I have to wait for my body to naturally go through the process. It's mentally, emotionally and physically exhausting. Doctor told me I have to wait until this is over and my actual period starts which he said could take anywhere from 4-7 weeks. Then after that we can try again. This is a horrible experience and I wouldn't wish this on my worst enemy, but I'm hoping for some support and maybe some ladies that know what it's like. Success stories of ladies who have had this happen and then gone on to have healthy babies would be great as well.
