I am struggling to come up with meal ideas for Ella. I am on SW so some of the things I have aren't suitable to her plus I don't want her to miss out on trying things because I can't have them.

She doesn't have good spoon control so until she is better with a spoon we are avoiding things like yogurt.

Any got any breakfast, lunch and tea ideas so I don't keep giving her the same thing?

Also when it comes to block cheese what cheese do you all use as I know cheddar contains a lot of salt.

There is a link somewhere here to an online recipe book '100 BLW recipes', which is good (and free!) - try the search facility.

Breakfasts I mostly do are thick porridge, scrambled eggs, toast, fruit pieces, weetabix with a splash of milk then broken in half. Lunch/tea recently has been chicken/beef casserole, veg risotto, macaroni cheese, curry, meatballs and spaghetti, and veg. My LO isn't a fan of bread but sandwiches, pitta bread and crumpets are good for filling/topping with stuff.

I use whatever cheddar I have in, but she doesn't have much of it.

she hasn't mastered eating things like rice or sloppy foods with her hands yet (or with a spoon) - she likes things she can pick up and hold in her hands while she sucks on them.

She is a massive toast lover - think she would eat it for every meal if I let her!!
