Hi all,

Just wondered if any of you had any advice...am 28+5 today and had my routine midwife appt...fundal height measuring 28cm exactly but on USS abdominal circumference of LO was 27+4...midwife not at all concerned...said can be up to 10 days out (I'm 8 days out). Fluid looked good, placenta looked healthy and blood pressure and urine all normal. I dont smoke/drink and gaining weight well. No medical problems and no abnormalities at 20 weeks.

She insisted not to worry and said I don't need any extra appointments so I suppose I'm worrying unnecessarily...but still worrying...am I being silly? First timer so no experience of this!!

Thanks for any advice :flower:

My baby was estimated to be a lot smaller than yours at around the same time. I had three growth scans, she went from being in the 4th centile to 8th centile to well into average and now I've been discharged back to midwife care. Your baby is probably just going to do its growing a bit later like mine :flower:

The scan estimates can be really out too, I've read stories on here about people being induced/having sections because of poor growth and them turning out to be normal sized.

Thank you...can't help but worry about these things!

Not all babies are born the same size so it stands to reason they'll all vary from the average figures given. I got told 2 weeks either way is fine x
