I chart and temp and know exactly when I O'd. Just wanted to get that out of the way. LOL I had an early scan at 5w5d (based on my calculations) and actually measured ahead by one day (so it was adjusted to 5w6d). That was on November 19th.

Yesterday I measured 7w3d...which is perfectly accurate based on LMP, but not by my ovulation date. I should have been 8w4d.

Has anyone else measured small and caught up?

The doctor said everything was perfect, heartbeat, etc. And based on LMP I was measuring right on schedule. But that can't be right. We only dtd twice during my fertile time: day of O and the day after. And I O'd on October 25th, but my LMP was October 15th. Any ideas? Has this happened to you?

I haven't experienced what you are going through, but wanted to reassure you that early size differences are fairly common, and if the baby seems healthy to the doctor on ultrasound, chances are things are going just fine. One of the reasons they use LMP over ovulation date, is that even knowing ovulation date AND the dtd dates, you still can't be sure when conception happened, since the rate of the sperm traveling and the rate of the egg traveling can be unique to each woman. Try not to worry too much between your ultrasounds and checks, and unless you have a strong intuition that something is wrong (I'm a big believe in intuition), just proceed like everything is normal, and make sure you have time to relax and enjoy first tri :)

Hang in there!! :)
