I've been trying for a while and am 43. I don't want to wait linger and try the clomids or IVF and it not be successful due to age. Should I throw in the ball now and have a doctor help me? Is it expensive? Does insurance cover it?

Hi! I would seek medical help! Make sure you see a Reproductive Endocrinologist as they will be able to help more than your regular ob! Are you charting, temping, using opk's? Do you know you are ovulating?? My guess would be the doctor would go straight to ivf because of your age, but if you aren't ovulating then you might try clomid to begin with. Just my two cents! :) Good luck!!
