Medication ttc

Hi,
I'm new and desperately need help! I currently take thyroxine 150 mg and I am taking 500ug of folic acid. I'm worried that my thyroxine will interfere with ttc and preganant! Can anybody help I have been to the doctor but he wasn't helpful. I have a over active thyroid! And desperate to have a baby soon

If you are taking thyroxine, you probably have an under-active thyroid, not over-active. Thyroxine replaces the naturally produced thryoid hormones that someone with an under-active thyroid is not producing anymore. It does not interfere with conception, and in fact you may actually need to take a little more of it while you are pregnant. Talk with your doctor about your TTC plans, and if he isn't helpful then find a better doctor.
