Saw this on line recently and thought I'd share....

https://www.ivf.net/ivf/melatonin-could-improve-women-s-ivf-success-o5387.html

Has anyone given this a go? I've asked my OH to bring me some back from the States where it's cheap, thought I'd give it go and wondered if anyone had any feedback?

Spring I could be wrong - but don't we get melatonin by getting sunlight or vitamin d? I have heard from a few people that their clinic recommends increased vitamin d.

Who knows right? xo

I thought melatonin was what gave pigmentation in the skin, and when you go out in the sun, it's the melatonin and sunlight that causes the skin to go browner. Don't know any more than that I'm afraid.

Melatonin is a hormone naturally produced in the body, which makes us sleepy. It's tied in with the amount of light we get, etc. You can take it in pill form -- it's quite nice for jet lag, mild insomnia, etc. Very safe. (But don't take my word for it -- I'm not a Real Doctor!!)

Melanin is the pigmentation in our skin.
