menstrual cramping at 36+1

So I'm 60% effaced and 2cm dilated. Baby was at -1 yesterday(this is my second baby).

I've been having some pretty intense period pains(like id swear I was bleeding, but nope) and wasn't sure if this was normal. Could this be the start of labor? I delivered my first at 38+6, so I'm hoping this one will go early too.

My baby is now fully engaged again and I been having period pains pretty bad for 3 weeks... No dilation at all not a thing!

I've heard they're normal this late on...

I've had period, type pains for almost a week now. Not all the time so just put them down to braxton hicks.

I've had them a few times now. A bsth helps ease them. My mw saif it's uterus rehersing.

My cervix seems to be moving forward(as its much easier to reach) so at least there is progress!
