Metallic-smelling CM question

My CM (minimal as it is), has a smell like iron. I'm at 11 DPO, and AF is due anytime between tomorrow and Saturday, so I kind of expect that to be the case if we're out this month.

Has anyone noticed this smell and still ended up pregnant that cycle?

I'm trying to increase a bit of hope that it worked this month. This is what's making me think I'm out though.

I have noticed it a day or sobbefore af. Usually it means its coming for me.

Oh i also have heard if you take a prenatal it can make it smell like that too.

The smell sort of went away today. At least much reduced compared to the last couple of days. I hope that's a good sign.

Thought I would update, since I rarely see updates on questions like this when I google

I got my BFP this morning! Two days of the iron smell (10 and 11 DPO), and 12 DPO it was virtually gone, BFP at 13 DPO
