Hi,

I'm new to this site so sorry if I don't use the correct terminology.

My husband and I have been TTC for about 18months now, have just undergone fertility tests and it has come to light that I have PCOS (which we knew about as I was diagnosed in 2011) and that my husband has low motility in his sperm. We have been prescribed Clomid and are about to start out first cycle. I'm CD14 and can sometimes have bleeding in-between my cycles, but this-morning I woke up and had a really heavy bleed with clots. Normally I would have said I must have started my next cycle already, but I'm not sure if I have, and as I am meant to start the Clomid on CD2, I don't want to miss it.

What should I do? Is it normal to have such a heavy bleed in between? I have read on this Forum somewhere that bleeds can be a sign of ovulation, which I don't normally do.

If anyone could shed any light on this I would be greatly appreciative as I'm so confused with all of this TTC stuff.

Thanks

Honey I have the same thing this cycle but I am now taking clomid or anything like it. My last expected period was the 5th of oct which was heavy painful and well lasted 5 days and then on cd16 the 20th of October I started my period again and heavier than the period I had just had and am still bleeding today but along with it I get clotting, really bad pain and headaches, dizziness too. SO I went to the doc she is getting me to have a load of blood tests on the 1st nov to see whats causing it if anything I know I don't have pcos or anything else like that but was so scared hense the visit to the doc will let you know what I find out x

Although my doc thinks it could be the start of peri-menopause as im 46 hun x

I had some heavy bleeding though one cycle with clots. I know it wasn't the start of a new cycle because my LH surge came on time after the bleeding. If I were you, I would tell your dr. and maybe get LH/progesterone test so you know where you are in your cycle.
