Middle name for Lucette

So we have decided on Lucette (Lucy for short) for a girl. But I'm struggling figuring out middle name.

I do like Annalyn but, it doesn't flow with Lucette.

I really want something to honor my Grandma Mary Ann. I'd also like to have Lynn our moms (Evelyn and Ellen). I hate my name and my middle name is Marie so very boring...

I actually like Mae as a middle name for Lucette, which honours some if your names. It sounds like a 40s pin up which is fab. Probably not on your tick list for naming criteria tho!

So I had thought of just doing Annalyn. Since many thought it did sound ok.

Now DH is asking for Annillee (Ann - e- lee).


I'm torn. Lynn isn't an option by itself (it sounds too much like Loretta Lynn).

Okay, Evelyn, Ellen, and Mary Ann ... what about a combined Malyn (mah-lyn) for middle name. I know it's a first name used in the south (not sure of the exact spelling though). And it was used for Sally Field's character in Steel Magnolias (spelled M'Lynn in the movie).

I intially though Rose but given your posts what about Malin (pronounced like mahlynne). It's a character in a movie (Steel Magnolias). It has an M for your grandmother and the Lynn for the mothers.
