We have settled on the name Olivie/Olivié (haven't decided about the accent) for a girl but stuck on middle names. I love Manon but OH loves Vesper. I really like Vesper and think it's a beautiful old name with lovely meaning, but when I asked on here about it the comments about it being in the same category as Mercedes and Porshe really put me off. Do you think Olivie Vesper sounds incredibly chavvy? Or Olivie Manon Vesper? If so, what middle name(s) would you go for? Names we like are:
-Auva
-Thero
-Priya
-Sigrid
-Noa
-Nura
-Nola
-Hero
-Lyra
-Vyvyan (definitely spelt like this as it is an old family name and means a lot to me).
-Sophie
-Posy
-Arly/Arlo
-Inigo
-Cleo
-Clemence/Clemency
-Romy
-Alexa
-Ondine
-Noor
-Io
-Cora
-Hermione
-Indre

...but open to other suggestions too!

(Oh and BTW, Olivié or Olivie? Some places say Olivié is the correct spelling but correct pronunciation is Ola-VEE so not sure whether to é is confusing??).

Thanks :flower:

Id say Olivie if you dont live in france just to make it easier, most keyboard dont have accents on them so it would often be left off in print

you seem to like boyish names from most of the middle names, I like:

-Sophie
-Cleo
-Cora

Out of your middle name options, I like:

Olivie Hero
Olivie Alexa
Olivie Posy
Olivie Cleo
Olivie Cora
Olivie Vivienne (I think I recall you saying Vyvyan is a family name?)

I would say no accent mark, bc that will change the pronunciation.

firstly my name is porsche (pronounced poor-sha) and I've had no trouble whatsoever ;)

secondly, i like olivie hero :) (no accent, pronounced ola-vee)

:) xx

I actually really like Vesper was on my list but hubby said no grrrr. On your list I actually like most of them but if had to pick my favourites would be

Nola
Romy
Cora

Xx

No accent and love Lyra and Cora as Middle names cx

OH has said he now likes Olivie Thero Noor. What do you think? I know it's unusual but I really wanted an unusual name. Thero was a Greek Goddess and Noor is my absolute favourite name and means light in Arabic but I can't use it as a first name because OH can't say it too well in his Yorkshire accent.
