Hiya
I texted my midwife today as last time I saw her (last week) she told me if I have any more dizziness or feeling like i'm going to pass out then I was to let her know.
well I have had 4 feelings of nearly passing out since sunday, 2 of which were today. so I let her know, she's going to do a blood test when I see her in 2 weeks but has told me that I need to see my doctor as soon as possible.
i'm worried about what the doctor will say or just palm it off as a normal pregnancy thing.
I know it's not normal. dizziness yea as had it in my second pregnancy, but this much and to nearly pass out so many times can't be.
It's only because I've managed to sit down or put my head in my knees that I haven't actually passed out.
has anyone experienced this so often? dose it effect baby? i'm worried that it happening so often will effect my baby

Sounds like low iron hun. Your doctor Will very much test you, its not a normal pregnancy symptom really. Tiredness etc yeah but nearly passing out is something they Will definitely look into for you x

I had low iron in my last pregnancy but never felt as bad as this. I hope they do do something I can keep going on like this.

I had this with my first baby and my blood pressure was very low. Make sure you dont get dehydrated

i do have low blood pressure anyway. my midwife is keeping an eye on this. it was 100/50 when I saw her last which for me is high.

I'm going through this too.
I have low blood pressure to begin with. About 80/60.
So the further along I am the worse it's going to get.
I'm dizzy often and I've already blacked out.
No harm for the baby.
Dr reassured me.

Make sure you eat immediately when you wake up. Yogurt and cheese are good fats that will keep you going. Eat often. Like every 2 hours.
And make sure you're having salty snacks in there too. I have salted top crackers all the time with my and munch on them.
If the symptoms are getting much worse I eat a bunch of crackers and lay down and rest for a while.
I even have a chair in my bathroom so I can get ready as I can't stand for that long sometimes.

Don't be afraid to sit exactly where you are. Trying to make it to a chair is not always the best choice. That's how I ended up passing out.

I hope your Dr is as great as mine is and doesn't just pass it off!
Best of luck ♡

well had doctors this morning,
blood pressure was 103/49. the one 103 this high for me but the 49 is very low. it never usually goes below 54.
I did feel a little dizzy at the time of reading so for me to get as bad as I have been it would have had to been at lot lower then that.
my doctor has said that my blood pressure is very low so I have to keep a drink on me at all times and try and drink 2 liters a day, he knows I struggle to drink 1.
he thinks my iron levels might also be a little low. but having a blood test when I see my midwife on the 29th.
He's also sending me for a scan of my heart as he could hear something. said it was nothing to be concerned about but just sending me for one to be safe.
