Well it may me a bit soon to consider myself a LTTTC'er but as we are now under an ACU I thought it would be ok to join you ladies here
Me (27) and fiance (28) have been TTC for a year now, I stopped taking the pill and we started trying straight away, however we haven't so much as had a hint of a BFP yet
and all sorts of things are starting to run through my mind that could be wrong - PCOS, blocked tubes, Cervical mucus to thick (due to Cystic Fibrosis), or my eggs are just no good
Since I came off the pill (loestrin) my periods returned straight away and have been very regular since (28-30 days, mainly 29) but they are very, very light and only last about 36-48 hours with not much more than spotting for a day or two after that. Nothing like they used to be when I was a teenager (4-5 days with at least 1 day being quite heavy)
We had our first appointment at Guy's ACU this past Wednesday and have been given forms for bloods (CD 3 & 21), Hycosy scan and SA for my fiance. It's just a matter of getting all those done and finding out the results and then hopefully we'll be closer to finding out what the problem is and I can put my mind at ease a bit.
