Been having my hcg levels done every two days since sunday.
sunday = 1500
Monday = scan showed empty sac measuring just under 5 weeks
Tues = 2350
Thurs = 3260
Sunday another scan booked.

levela are rising but just not doubling...not even nowhere near
Ectopic was ruled out but they said they need to check again.
Doctor said chances are its a slow progressing pregnancy that will eventually end
Had a loss in august and can not believe this is happening again.
I knew catching pregnant straight away was too good to be true

What could I expect to see on sundays scan? Making me 5wks 4 days
would there still be an empty sac?

feel so low and exhausted from all the stress.
If this does end then theres no baby making for a few months.
Maybe that will help.

How far along were you supposed to have been at the first US? If you were < 5 weeks, an empty sac really isn't dispositive yet and I would still be encouraged by the fact that the HCG is rising. I don't want to give you false hope and obviously I'm not a doctor, but it seems awfully early for them to be so pessimistic, if you really are <5 weeks.

I was able to BARELY see LO and a HB at 5w6d (6w6d from LMP, but I ovulate a week later than normal, so LO was measuring one week behind), but I know a lot of women here didn't see anything until later. Also, are you certain of your ovulation date? If not and you ovulated late, things would be measuring behind anyway (not that seeing nothing at <5 weeks is "behind"... most doctors won't even do a scan that early for that very reason).

Well my last loss was august so I didnt get AF and I have no idea when I ovulated as I didnt track.
I just classed my first day of bleeding from my loss as cd1 so thought I would be around 6 weeks at my first scan.
Got my BFP on 30th Sept.
doctor actually said that I was measuring on the small side even tho the sonographer measured me just under 5weeks. And he also said that with my levels being 1500 they should of been able to see abit more... but iv also read so much about hcg facting that after 2000 hcg can take 96hrs to rise. Maybe thats why I only rose by 39% after 2350 but when I was below that I rose by 57%??
I dunno...hoping the scan proofs all wrong but i know my chances are slim

I'm sorry you are dealing with this
I'm not a Dr either, but at so early a stage you really cant tell anything. And ignore the HCG numbers. Everyone stresses and obsesses over them but there is not a textbook answer for HCG for every pregnancy. My HCG actually dropped and they figured that meant mc, for sure! but they did an U/S and there was baby with a tiny hb. That was at just over 6 weeks. I know it's hard, but try to stay positive. will be checking for your update!

Update

had my scan. They could see a yolk sac and fetal pole now they said they wont date my oregnancy until embyro is seen so I go back in 2 weeks for another scan
So relieved for now . X

The only thing I found odd was she said my sac is measuring just under 5 weeks which is what I was told on mondays scan.
So I asked the nurse about it afterwards and she said thats fine shes not concerned as they like to measure baby and not the sac. Aslong as stuff is showing inside then its fine.

She's totally right the measurements aren't precise until later on. This happened with me, the sac measured the same but inside had developed

At first I started freaking out thinkin my sac would never grow and baby wouldnt have room and would miscarry.

Not good news today.
Had another scan this time sac has grown but baby is measuring nearly 3 weeks behind
I go back again next monday but 90% sure this is a MMC

Not yet,I have no definite idea when I got pregnant but I have a few rough dates in my head.
I got a bfp 30th sept so I couldnt I ovulated that late or it would of been to early to test.
baby was measuring 5 weeks but because this is the first time they have seen the baby they crnt tell me if its not growing or growing too slow.

but with hcg levels never doubling in the first place it dont look good
crnt believe I am going to go through this again,its not fair,all I want Is 1 more baby and it just seems impossible at the moment.

You'll be having another scan on Monday right? So they said baby was still measuring at 5 weeks but they're guessing you should be around 8?

My HCG actually dropped by 1500 and I'm still pregnant so don't base too much on that.

Well I dont 100% know what I should be as I have no period to base it on,miscarriage in august and got a bfp 5 weeks later.

but based on when I got my bfp which is 30th sept I should be atleast 7 weeks.
no idea what dpo I was but even trying to work it out from 7/8dpo I should be in my seventh week.

so its all abit of a blur at the mintue I jusg pray I go up by a week maybe and then at 12week scan I go up by another week as iv read loads about that.

yeh scan on monday morning. Fingers crossed ill have definate answers

What's the earliest DPO one could even get a positive?

The earliest I have read is 7dpo.
& when I think about it when I was scanned the first time at just under 5 weeks with an empty sac my hcg was already 1500..so maybe I did get a early bfp?
I also did a digital and that was a 1-2 pregnant on the 3rd october.
