I'm going away for Friday and Saturday (one night) and I have expressed some milk to take with me. I would like to save it for Friday and Saturday evenings as we will be eating out and as everyone knows babies always want food when u sit down to eat!

My question is how is it best to store the milk from taking it out if the freezer on Friday morning until Saturday night?

I was thinking if I buy a cooler bag and freezer packs, would it stay cool enough?

I think that would work if you don't have a freezer available. Really you would only need to keep it frozen until Friday night because once it's thawed you have 24 hours of refrigeration time before it 'goes bad'. So if you pack the cooler with several ice packs (I just freeze refilled water bottles, the ice stays frozen for a while!) and open it as little as possible, it will stay frozen :)
