MIL noticed how long LO feeds and said: "Oh well, you can just unlatch her whenever you feel it's been too long and you need a break. For starters, I wasn't complaining. She just felt the need to say that because she wasn't able to hold her, because I had to breastfeed her. Never mind that I had 3 full bottles of pumped breast milk in the fridge that I had ready just for her, but she didn't want to bottle feed LO.
I would love to listen to her since she breastfed DH for 3 years, but she has loads of really old school advice. This includes smacking the baby if she bites.
