Mirena coil anyone?

Has anyone had a mirena coil? I have had one for 14 months but it has. Come out, well it's on it's way out and so I have an appointment with the doctors.
Has anyone gotten pregnant on it? I'm late and worried now that it's on it's way out!

How do you know it's on the way out :-S ?? I presume it'll still be pretty effective unless it's totally out hun, maybe ask the DR to do a blood test just incase? xx

It was in my cervix!! Very uncomfortable. Not pregnant but have had it taken out. I am so much more comfortable.
