I have a few questions for you ladies who have experienced a miscarriage. (so sorry that you've had to go through this though)

What does it physically feel like to have a early miscarriage?

We dtd on jan 1,2,3 and I ovulated I think on jan 2. I did not expect to get my period until jan 18 (I'm very regular!) but on jan 12 I had bright red spotting and again on jan 13 and then jan 14 I had really dark and heavy flow and for over an hour I had really really severe sharp pains in my abdomen. To the point of i was almost in tears and i have a very high pain tolerance. These pains are something I've never had before with my period. My regular period flow started the next day.

Does this sound like it could have been a possible miscarriage?

I have been told I have a bicornuate or septate uterust, I'm awaiting tests to find out to what extent it is. And I have been told miscarriages can go along with this. I have had a "suspected miscarriage" years ago but honestly I can't remember what it was like as at the time for my situation it was ok for me to not have had a successful pregnancy.

Thanks for your input ladies.

If it was it would be classed as a chemical pregnancy. But I'd say at 10dpo it would be too early to give major bleeding but it's possible.

I had a chemical last cycle (they are very common). I had bad cramps and heavier flow for the first day of AF then back to normal.

Not sure if this helps. Maybe have a chat with your doctor.

Like Bean66 says it would be classed as a chemical pregnancy but generally it's not overly heavy bleeding that early. I miscarried at 9 weeks which involved some cramping, heavy bleeding and lots of clots before I actually passed the sac. I also had a miscarriage at 6 weeks (just 8 days after finding out I was pregnant) and it was more like a period just a little heavier. But everyone is different xx

Did you take a pregnancy test at all? It's possible that you didn't MC and that it was just an unusually painful AF. My early MC came just a few days after I expected AF and my symptoms were weird unusual cramps in the front that were slightly more painful than a period, and a lot of bloating. Mine came fast and hard though, no spotting beforehand.

With my confirmed chemicals it was just like a normal AF only more clotty. and I m/c them at about 5 weeks. for me though AF is always painful and heavy flow for the first 2 days of it. so if I had not tested early I would have never known I was pregnant.

Thanks ladies.

No I did not test so I can't be sure.

I usually get bad cramps with my period but this was definately different then the norm. I have a doc appointment next week so I will bring it up then for sure.
