Miscarriage?

How long after a possible miscarriage would you get a negative test.
Had fairly bad cramping on Monday night and yesterday morning brown sporting which then turned red and enough for a pad but not really heavy. Doctor had positive test yesterday and said to wait. Was still fairly sick yesterday and this morning but don't feel so bad now and wondering am I losing baby or Mmc? Any advice appreciated

Are you still bleeding? If it's stopped hopefully everything's ok. Maybe take a test on Friday if you're still

Not bleeding heavy but very noticeable each time I wipe and occasionally marked a pad. Just so unusual for me not to be sick

It varies from woman to woman. HCG can take quite a while to exit the system...sometimes over a month depending on how high your levels were when you miscarried. I think your best indicator would be to get repeat quantitative hcg tests to see which direction your levels are going....up or down.
