My husband and I are just starting our TTC journey. We're doing all the tips and tricks to conceive a boy (one of them being DTD during ovulation, no earlier.) I took an ovulation test this morning and it was positive. This afternoon I had EWCM. My concern in that my husband is out of town, and doesn't get home until tomorrow afternoon! Have we missed our chance this month??

No you did not. Ovulation is on average 12-48 hrs after your LH surge but most often it is around the 36 hour mark. Then the egg is alive for another 12-24 hours after that.
While it is possible that you could be on the short range of that, it's more likely that you will be ovulating when your hubby walks in that door. Take advantage of that.
