missing ovulation despite testing everyday?

hi ladies!
First of all, this is an awesome site. I've learned a lot, thanks to you guys

Anyway, just want to ask if its possible, that even if you test at the same time everyday, your OPK could miss your ovulation? Meaning it does not turn positive even if you ovulated?

I think im ovulating right now coz i might be having the symptoms but ive been using OPKs for 3 consecutive days already and it never turned positive. But never the less we've been everyother day so we dont miss it.

Do i trust my instinct or my OPK?
