I wondered if anyone here has mitral valve prolapse (mvp)?
I was diagnosed with it over five years ago and am generally symptom free; I was told at the time it's the most common form of heart murmur and some physicians feel it should be classified as a normal variation rather than a condition...
Anyway, since becoming pregnant I've started getting palpitations (mostly at night) and yesterday had an awful night with palpitations and missed heart beats...I don't know if this is to be attributed to the mvp or just pregnancy????
Anyone else got this condition and having similar symptoms???
