My husband and I have been TTC for almost 3 years. I have PCOS, endometriosis, and irregular cycles. We just got into a huge fight about trying because I feel like he doesn't want to have a baby as much as I do. He tells me that he wants one more than anything but it is feeling like a job because I tell him when we need to try. He feels like it should just happen when It happen. How do I get him to understand the medical advice that I have gotten from my doctor that it just can't be whenever the feeling hits. I'm okay with that during the remainder of the month, but during that window you have to do it or nothing will ever happen. Or how I can believe that this is truly what he wants if he only wants to try when the feeling hits and not when it's pertinent that we do?

Hi!
I used to have this problem with my husband also, but once I explained how my cycle worked as well as how timing is everything, it got a lot better. Women are complicated and he probably isn't aware. Sex turned into a scheduled chore for us and it was no longer fun. Neither one of us were into it and I think that can play a big part into the stress factor of things. Maybe explain everything to him and try to liven up your sex life to keep it fun and interesting so he's more inclined to do the dance. Pressured sex puts me off as well. Life is busy and stressful as it is. Try explaining your cycle in depth so he has better knowledge and go from there? Just a thought. Good luck!

Agree with pp. Have a chat about why your fertile window is so important but maybe also make a bit more effort to seduce him at the right time, sexy lingerie or texts so he knows you want him not just his sperm! ( ha ha)

Sex has become a bit of a chore around o for me and my dh also. I'm going to try to keep the "we have to dtd today" comments to myself and instead get into the the I want to dtd mindset and just really bring my A-game next month! :) baby dust to you!
