mine are:

girls: Sophie, Chloe, Zoey,

boys: Sebastian, Max[well], Miles


ps. not doing this to offend anyone who likes these names, it's just something different.

(Ha Ha I like Haydan Jaydan, and Zoey.... Though I find them to popular to use them for my own kids...)

As for names I don't like (like everyone above I hope I don't offend people but all in good fun) here's my list (or a shortened version of it lol)

Girls: Chloe, Courtney, Amanda, Edna, Candice, Claudia, April, Abigail.... I could go on and on....

Boys: Alphie, Jack, George, Phillip, David, Gordon, Johnathon, Darrian, Damian, Lucus.... again I could go on and on....

Names are very very very much a personal preference!

I'm a supply teacher, and often the children I meet and teach put me off names!

I don't like:
Girls: Maddison (or Maddyson, Madysun, or any other spelling of it!), Molly, Trinity, Destiny (or, even worse, Deztinie), Demilee, Angel, Precious (any name that is an adjective seems a bit naff to me!)
Boys: Kian, Kyan, Kyle, all those K names seem to belong to difficult boys! I like most other boys' names, though Stuart and Luke were both tainted for me by horrid boys I was at school with!

Funnily enough I really like Seth, Jacob, Ethan, Poppy, Imogen and Alice but I loathe pretty much every one you listed as loving! And Elizabeth is my middle name.

I hate the names that have become really chavvy. Like Jayden/Hayden, Kai, Destiny, Jasmine, Britney, Harley, basically anything you wouldn't even name your cat! Oh, I don't like St. John either. He'll end up being called SAINT JOHNhis whole life rather than SINJIN! I also dislike Hal, Niles, Kourtney (spelled with the K, the spelling with the C offends me marginally less)

I also loathe when people muck about with the spellings. I know someone who named her recently born son Fynnley. That child is going to get birthday and Christmas cards and party invites addressed to Finley for the rest of his life!

Hmmmmmm, I seem to dislike more boys names than girls!

I really do not like any name that is a noun... Summer, Winter, Autumn (i'm yet to see a spring though), Ashlee (i've never met a nice one), Madeleine (a rather undelightful child in my class) and of course silly spelling

Boys.... Dejay, Daryl, Harley and any name beginning with J (i've notice that most of the naughty boys at school begin with a J... Jack especially!)

I don't like 'modern' names at all really. Give me a biblical name or a classic name and I'm all over it. I'm just not keen on the Tyler/Madison style epidemic...

Haha, I love the fact that any one might be calling their baby's Edna or Gordon, I find them very old fashioned now!

I too love Dexter, Seth, Theo but don't like Riley, Harley, Harvey, Kai (my OH dogs name, so completely ruined!), Hurley.

Girls I don't like Maddison/Maddilynne, Naomi, Jane, Lily, Grace (the last two I loved but there are SO many around now I couldn't use them).

I don't like names that are too common, seeing as how 10% my uni class had the same name as me, also don't like names that are spelt differently to the original, I feel sorry for them at school trying to learn how to spell them!

My least fav names are names like these, girls : Latisha/Keisha/Latoya ect!, and boys : Dwayne, David, and all the old fashioned names.

Bit harsh Florabelle! I don't believe in all this chavvy name business .. A person represents a name, not the other way around! I named my son Jayden and I am certainly not a chav!

I am sooo fussy theres no point in me even listing the names, it would just go on forever

My only real pet peeve is when people try and be 'unique' and different, the poor kid just ends up with the most ridiculous name!
