mole/s on areola anyone else?

I finally made an apt for Monday to get one looked at. Its been bothering me awhile but i have been ignoring it since january (slaps wrist). Had a nice chat with a doctor on the phone and i wish i had done it earlier. He thinks its nothing to worry about but should probably be checked out. So i have a male doctor having a look at my boobs lol my normal doctor is on leave typical grrrrrrr. Good job i am not shy in that department.

Anyone else had a weird shaped new mole raised and slightly looking and feeling like a skin tag? Its also darker than other new flat ones near it. Its quite small as well. Right on the edge where boob meets areola.

I'm not sure if it's the same but my nipples have gone mental! I have a ton of little sticky-up bits and brown spots/flakes all around the edge of the areola. TBH I think it's normal for preg because all the hormones cause pigmentation, but I'll be interested to hear what the Dr says xxx

cheers boo that makes me more hopeful i have been worrying about nothing. It just seemed strange to to have this one different one. I am planning in bf again and i just hate the thought of something being not quite right about it.

I don't know if this will make you feel better, but I had a mole on the underside of my boob for ages (before pregnancy) I put off going to the Doc for 3 years... it was absolutely fine though! So I wouldn't worry. I even got so far as having it removed and I ran away from the scalpel... had to rebook it for a month later. Such a wuss . x

I have developed a very small, flat mole on my left areola. It is darker than my areola (and they have gotten very dark!!!) I think it's a mole, it's like a small raised freckle. Anyway, I noticed it a couple weeks ago and it hasn't bothered me at all. Just figured it was something that came along with these crazy changing nipples.

I've got exactly the same. Left areola, random darker and raised mole. I also figure it's just all part of the whole pregnancy and milk-prepping deal.
However, now I'll mention it to my OB as I have an appointment today.

I had something like this before i got pregnant- got all worked up about it and saw my doctor- he just looked at it- rolled his eyes and said "its a age spot". I mean who gets age spots on their BOOBS for god sake. Then i got pregnant and they popped up everywhere. I feel like im about 90.

Age spots :O o joy didn't' know about those i thought you only really got them on your hands? I did think about googling pics but i just know some really rank stuff will pop up.

Ive got what i think is a mole right in the same place you describe, i say i think its a mole cause to be honest it looks like a skin tag. I asked OB about it and she looked and said its nothing to worry about, ive come up in loads of skin tags since i was pregnant mostly around my neck

I have gotten a few skin tag type moles on my boobs and I figured it was from pregnancy..but maybe I'll tell the doc just in case.

Yep, I had two pop up early in my second trimester - one on each boob in symmetrical places. Just figured it was par for the course!

I thought I better update.

I managed to catch it with my nail at the weekend Monday morning its gone a bit dried up and in the shower i managed to catch the scab and it basically came off!

The freckle part is still there so went to appt anyway. Doctor was really nice and reassuring and had a good look with a little light gadget and just gently felt the skin. I had a drop down bra on which helped so i didn't feel so exposed. He thinks as it came off so easily so it was probably a subor something wart basically age spot!
