Hi everyone im new to this and dont know any lingo but i do want some advice, i was on the pill for 10 years and came off to start trying, but my periods have been erractic since coming off, the last 5 - 6 months have been about normal and we have been trying for 18 months know and nothing is happening we attended monklands infertility clinic last week for our first appointment with the nurse i got an internal ultra sound and we both had blood test done , i dont think i have ever been so nervous in my whole life before i felt like a complete failure and could hardly talk to the nurse hubby has had to hand two samples in to the lab as they needed a second one to test to see if we are able to have IUI, but im just looking to speak to anyone who has been there or anyone who can give me some advice, this is a very lonley place and for some reason i feel like im the only one in the world who cant give my husband a babie and its a terriable feeling. would really appreciate any advise. xx

Hi hon,
Know how hard this all is and the waiting is just the most horrific part.
I was attending monklands from jan 2011 after a year of ttc. We were very lucky and in the end did not need treatment, i did however suffer 2 losses. Their were some very bad times when i thought about leaving my OH as i just knew he would be the best daddy ever! Think this was just the build up of emotions and hurt i was feeling and not knowing what was wrong i just needed someone too blame and that was me lol. Just try and keep positive i know easier said than done, and just keep thinking even if something is wrong their is almost always a solution! Sorry for the rant, hope its helped a little. also its good to read lttc sucess stories they always gave me hope when i was feeling bad. :hugs:
